Warsaw – March 24, 2018

In Warsaw Zbigniew Niziński met with the youth from Naharija in Israel. During the lecture the students found out about the actions of the Lasting Memory Foundation for commemorating the Jews murdered during the Holocaust. They were told about and shown the pictures of the graves of the Victims located and commemorated by the Foundation with the assistance of local residents.

 
Rudnik – March 14, 2018

In two schools in Rudnik, Zbigniew Niziński delivered a lecture on the common history of Poles and Jews as well as the activity of the Lasting Memory Foundation for locating and commemorating unmarked graves of the Jews murdered during the Holocaust, including those in the area of Rudnik. He talked about the stories of Jewish children who had survived the Holocaust and the figures of those who had saved other people during the war.

 
Michów – February 19, 2018

In three schools in Michów Commune – in Katarzyn, Rudno and Michów – and at the meeting of the Council of Michów Commune, Zbigniew Niziński delivered a lecture and presentation concerning the common history of Poles and Jews, as well as the Foundation’s actions for commemorating unmarked graves of the Holocaust Victims. He also spoke about the stories of such places located in the area.

 
Zamość, Hrubieszów – January 30-31, 2018

In penitentiaries in Zamość and Hrubieszów, Zbigniew Niziński carried out lectures concerning the activity of the Lasting Memory Foundation for commemorating the Holocaust Victims as well as the heroes rescuing people during the extermination. He also presented the stories of Jewish children who survived the war and spoke about empathy towards other people, different attitudes during the war and a need for preserving the memory of the Victims.

 
Gniezno – January 22, 2018

In Gniezno there took place the ceremony of awarding diplomas and medals of the Righteous Among the Nations of the World to 4 Poles who rescued Jews during World War II. The Lasting Memory Foundation initiated and supported the actions for honoring Wojciech Pachurka, who was killed for assisting Jews in 1943.
