In the villages of Gorajec and Dragany, the Lasting Memory Foundation marked the burial sites of Jews murdered between 1942 and 1943 with Memory Stones. All of the victims had been hiding in these villages in an attempt to escape the Holocaust. Now, over 80 years later, local residents joined the Foundation in commemorating these tragic events.
